UFC’s “Ultimate Auction”

Posted: January 7, 2011 in Marketing, PR, UFC

If you have read this blog before, you know I have a soft spot for doing the right thing and have been impressed with the MMA world’s charitable nature. Of late, STRIKEFORCE has been showing a lot of love but the MMA Juggernaut, the UFC, has never been a slouch in this arena.

With the UFC’s  “UFC Fight for the Troops” event coming this month, the MMA promotion is launching the “Ultimate Auction.”  The auction features online bidding for several high-end prizes including a UFC VIP Experience, a limited edition UFC Custom Camaro (No. 2 of 10) and a private training session with  Randy Couture and Forrest Griffin. Additional auctions include Dinner with the UFC’s Octagon Girls, a chance to attend the season eight premiere of HBO’s “Entourage,” as well as several other unique experiences.

All proceeds benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The auction ends Jan. 23, one day after “UFC Fight Night 23: UFC Fight for the Troops 2.”  Like the last Fight for the Troops special, this live UFC event is designed to raise funds for men and women in the United States Armed Forces that have suffered traumatic brain injuries.

Interested bidders should visit the auction’s home page.

  1. That’s awesome. A private session with those two former UFC champions is incredible. What a great way to be involved in good causes. Kudos to them.
