MMA Elite Nominated for Influential Men of 2010

The road to mainstream continues on for MMA (or at least the UFC).  “Hide ya wife, hide ya kids” because UFC President Dana White and UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lensar have been nominated for’s “Most Influential Men 2010” list.  For those unfamiliar with the list, here is the official descriptor:

Who are the most influential men of 2010? Which male public figures have done the most to earn your admiration over the past 12 months? We at AskMen have a good enough idea to have assembled the shortlist of candidates you’ll find below. Now we need your help in determining the final 49. Nominate your picks today, then come back to AskMen on October 26, 2010, when the Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2010 will be revealed.

2009 winners from the sports category included Lance Armstrong,  Dwayne Wade, and Lebron James.  Making this list would only further solidify MMA’s significance, legitimacy and impact on pop culture.  Take a look at some of the other nominees: Conan OBrien, Daniel Craig, and Brad Pitt.
